RESEARCH INTERESTS

Cochlear inflammation and mononuclear phagocytes in repair of the damaged cochlea.

Responsibilities consist of recruitment of new faculty to the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology, training our residents during their pediatric rotation, coordination of our personnel, including nursing staff, audiology staff, secretarial staff, and patient service representatives. I review the monthly billings and revenues, total visits and RVUs that our division generates and provide background for interpretations of our performance with respect to the budget. As the division chief, I encourage and value the pursuit of academic contributions and mentor my colleagues and residents in initiation of research projects and participation in national meetings.
