Valente Presents at AAA
In April, L. Maureen Valente, Director of Audiology Studies, attended the annual meeting of the Council on Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CAPCSD) in Palm Springs, California. Later the same month Dr. Valente attended Audiology NOW!, the annual convention of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) in Denver, Colorado, where she presented a Learning Module titled “Vestibular Evaluation and Maturational Effects with Children.” As part of the AAA Committee on Clinical Education’s Task Force on Payment Issues for the Fourth-Year Externship, Dr. Valente also presented a Featured Session titled “Payment Issues Regarding Fourth-Year Au.D. Students.”
